Brendan Rodgers coy on Mario Balotelli

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers remains coy when asked whether out-of-favour striker Mario Balotelli is heading to AC Milan on loan.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has refused to confirm whether Mario Balotelli is heading to AC Milan on loan this summer.

The 25-year-old has been strongly linked with a return to San Siro after falling out of favour at Anfield.

After Monday's goalless draw at Arsenal in the Premier League, Rodgers was asked about the Italian's situation, but refused to disclose whether a move is in place.

"I have nothing to add on transfers at the moment. I have always said this season whether it is incomings or outgoings that there is nothing to say until it happens," Rodgers told Sky Sports News.

Balotelli has not yet been involved for Liverpool in the new Premier League season.
