Sheffield United are reportedly reluctant to meet Liverpool's asking price for young striker Rhian Brewster.
The 20-year-old looks set to leave Anfield this summer due to the amount of competition he faces for a starting spot.
Brewster impressed on loan with Championship side Swansea City last season, scoring 11 times in 22 appearances, and has also been touted as a target for Crystal Palace.
United have already started talks with Liverpool, but according to the Daily Mail, the two sides are wide apart with their valuations.
Premier League champions Liverpool supposedly want £25m for Brewster, which is substantially more than Chris Wilder's side are willing to hand over.
Brewster's most recent appearance for the Reds came in the Community Shield defeat to Arsenal last month, with the England Under-21s international missing a penalty in the shootout.
