Stoke City to move for Liverpool target Stefan Kiessling?

Stoke City are reportedly planning to launch a January bid for Liverpool target Stefan Kiessling, who plays for Bayer Leverkusen.

Stoke City are reportedly preparing to make a move for Bayer Leverkusen striker Stefan Kiessling, who has been linked with Liverpool.

The 31-year-old was recently quoted as saying that he will consider leaving the German club.

Liverpool have been touted as potential suitors, but recent reports have claimed that manager Jurgen Klopp has no plans to buy new players when the transfer window reopens next month.

According to The Express, Stoke are ready to pounce should Liverpool cool their interest in Kiessling, who scored twice in Leverkusen's 5-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

Stoke manager Mark Hughes has reportedly targeted the forward with the hope of finishing the Premier League season in the top 10.
