West Bromwich Albion, Crystal Palace to fight for Rickie Lambert?

Liverpool forward Rickie Lambert will be a target for Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion if Divock Origi arrives at Anfield this month, according to reports.

West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace will reportedly compete for the signature of Rickie Lambert if Liverpool decide to sell the England international this month.

Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly suggested that he would be unwilling to allow a forward to leave in the January transfer window, despite Lambert and Mario Balotelli both struggling to find their form in front of goal since arriving at Anfield in the summer.

According to the Sunday People, West Brom and Palace are interested in Lambert, and they are hopeful of securing his services if Liverpool are successful in bringing Divock Origi to the club sooner than planned.

Liverpool are believed to be keen to come to an agreement with Lille to cut short Origi's spell in France after loaning him back to them when the two clubs agreed on a £10m transfer.
