West Ham United, Liverpool agree Andy Carroll fee?

Reports claim that West Ham United and Liverpool have reached an agreement for the permanent switch of Andy Carroll.

West Ham United have reportedly reached an agreement with Liverpool to sign Andy Carroll on a permanent basis.

The England international spent last season with the Hammers on a loan deal, scoring seven goals from his 23 outings.

That was enough to impress manager Sam Allardyce, who has confirmed on numerous occasions over the last few weeks that he would like to keep hold of the 24-year-old.

While a deal was thought to be beyond the Hammers from a financial point of view, they have matched Liverpool's valuation of the striker, according to numerous reporters.

It is believed that the Reds had asked for £15m, which is £20m less than the £35m that they parted with to sign him from Newcastle United in 2011.
