Liverpool midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum has revealed that he sees himself returning to Dutch football in the future.
Wijnaldum has played in the Premier League since 2015, making a total of 168 appearances in the top flight for Newcastle United and the Merseyside giants respectively.
However, at a time when he has less than 18 months remaining on his contract, the Netherlands international has predicted that he will represent PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord or Sparta Rotterdam again later in his career.
Speaking to Rijnmond, the 29-year-old said: "In the future I see myself playing for Feyenoord, PSV or Sparta again.
"You want to play at the highest level and win trophies, like Clarence Seedorf. It's my dream to play as long as possible. Like him, Zlatan [Ibrahimovic] or [Cristiano] Ronaldo. I want to play at a high level until I'm 38."
Before spending the early years of his professional career with Feyenoord and PSV, Wijnaldum spent seven years of his youth days at Sparta.
