Kenny Miller 'steps down as Livingston boss after two games'

Livingston player-manager Kenny Miller reportedly leaves his post after only two league games in charge of the Scottish Premiership outfit.

Kenny Miller has reportedly stepped down from his role as Livingston manager after just two league games at the helm.

The 38-year-old was only appointed as the club's new player-manager in July, but concerns over off-the-pitch matters are understood to have contributed to his dismissal.

BBC Sport reports that Miller underwent showdown talks with the club's board today and has subsequently left his role.

Livingston are winless in their last three games, picking up one point from their two league outings under Miller and being knocked out of the League Cup at the hands of Motherwell this weekend.

However, it is thought that results are not the reason behind the decision to part company with the Scottish Premiership outfit.

Official confirmation has not yet arrived from the club, and it is as yet unclear whether Miller will stay on in a playing capacity.
