Julio Baptista claims that Malaga can get the better of Porto on Wednesday and reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Malaga midfielder Julio Baptista believes that his side's objective of qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals is "achievable".

The Spanish club will host Porto in the second leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday, having lost the first leg 1-0 in Portugal last month.

"I think that getting through is an achievable goal," he told reporters. "We know we will have chances to score. It will be difficult but not impossible. I am well, I trained all week and feel good having recovered from a muscle strain. I am ready to play if the boss (Manuel Pellegrini) asks me.

"Every game is different. We didn't play very well in the first leg. It hurt us that we played that way. We didn't achieve the type of style that we can play over there. We know now that we can achieve something very important here tomorrow night and all of us are very focused on that.

"Tomorrow is a night for the fans to enjoy, a night for them to be that extra player and they can be sure that from our part we will be giving everything for them."

This is Malaga's debut season in the Champions League.
