Newcastle United have already lined up three new signings for the summer transfer window, according to a report.
The Magpies have faced their challenges with complying with the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability rules and have subsequently been quiet across the last two transfer windows with regards to incomings.
Eddie Howe will hope that there is money to spend in the summer, though, and qualification for next season's Champions League will help Newcastle attract several of their desired targets.
Newcastle currently sit sixth in the Premier League table and just three points behind the top four, while they also have an EFL Cup final against Liverpool at Wembley to look forward to at the end of March.
While Howe is focused on finishing the season strongly on the pitch, sporting director Paul Mitchell is working hard behind the scenes with Newcastle's recruitment team and the Daily Mail claims that he held a scouting summit last weekend where a list of targets was drawn up.

Newcastle to sign teenage duo Salia, Cordero
Newcastle have already agreed a deal to sign highly-rated Georgian forward Vakhtang Salia, who will officially join the club from Dinamo Tbilisi when he turns 18 in August.
Two more promising youngsters could also be heading to St James' Park including Antonio Cordero, as Shield Gazette claims that the 18-year-old winger is expected to join Newcastle this summer.
Cordero will see his contract at Spanish club Malaga expire at the end of June and the Magpies are said to have beaten the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona to win the race for the teenager's signature.
The 2006-born winger, also known as Antonito, is a Spain Under-19s international and has played 26 times for Malaga in the Spanish second division this season, scoring four goals and registering six assists.
Meanwhile, Shield Gazette also claims that Newcastle are set to reignite their pursuit of Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford after missing out on his signature last summer.

Trafford 'agrees' to join Newcastle this summer
Personal terms were said to have been verbally agreed between the Magpies and Trafford, but Burnley turned down an offer worth around £16m for a player who has since kept a remarkable 24 clean sheets in 33 Championship games this season, conceding only nine goals.
It is claimed that agreeing personal terms with Trafford will not be an issue for Newcastle this summer, but they will likely be required to fork out a fee north of £20m, one that could rise to around £30m considering the 22-year-old's impressive performances this season.
Even though Newcastle already have five goalkeepers in their first-team squad - Nick Pope, Martin Dubravka, Odysseas Vlachodimos, John Ruddy and Mark Gillespie - the Magpies are believed to be keen to sign a new shot-stopper who can compete for the No.1 jersey.
The potential arrival of Trafford could result in the departure of either Pope or Dubravka, the latter of whom extended his Newcastle contract until June 2026 earlier this month after coming close to leaving in January.
Dubravka recently enjoyed a run of games in Howe's side in the absence of the injured Pope, who has since recovered and has started two of Newcastle's last three matches, conceding five goals in the process.
