Pepe says that Real Madrid must be wary of Manchester City's mentality but is confident of winning at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Real Madrid defender Pepe is confident that his side can defeat Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday.

Victory for Jose Mourinho's team will see them progress to the Champions League last 16 from Group D and eliminate City from the competition.

"Their mentality is one that we have to be wary of," he said. "They always work for the entire 90 minutes.

"But we have a great ability and I think we can come away from here with a win.

"We have our style of play, we have to be true to that style and do what the coach asks. In a difficult group you always have to do thing the right way."

In the other game in Group D on Wednesday, Ajax will host Borussia Dortmund in Amsterdam.
