Marcos Lopes: 'I want to bring attacking quality to Lille'

Lille loan star Marcos Lopes says that he is able to bring attacking qualities to Rene Girard's side while developing away from his parent club Manchester City.

Lille loan star Marcos Lopes has revealed that he is enjoying bringing attacking qualities to Rene Girard's Ligue 1 side.

Lopes is currently on loan Lille from Manchester City, with the playmaker settling in quickly to become an important feature in the Les Dogues unit.

"What I try to bring to the team is quality, to attack more," Lopes told The Ligue 1 show.

"Because when I'm not playing, when I'm in the stands watching the game, I look at the game and we don't attack too much.

"When I'm on the pitch it's what I try to do, it's to get more chances and to attack more, because it's in attacking that we can win games."

Lille currently occupy 11th place in the league standings, with 35 points from 27 games so far this campaign.
