Manchester City could sue Carlos Tevez

Manchester City reportedly consider suing Carlos Tevez for compensation after he abandoned the club in November.

Manchester City are reportedly considering legal action against Carlos Tevez due to his plummeting price tag.

Reports have claimed that the Premier League leaders are believed to be seeking compensation from the Argentina international, who has effectively been on strike since November.

The North West club are thought to be looking for £25m for the striker, who has lost up to £10m in wages and bonuses after flying to South America without the club's permission last year.

AC Milan, Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan have all been close to agreeing respective deals with the frontman, but no transfers have come to fruition.

With just five days left in the January window, it is a possibility that the 27-year-old will remain at the Etihad Stadium until the end of the season.
