Manchester City players tell Pep Guardiola to decide on lineup?

Manchester City players are reportedly calling on Pep Guardiola to stop changing the starting lineup every week after they lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Manchester City players have reportedly called on head coach Pep Guardiola to stop changing the starting lineup every week after they lost 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Guardiola has not named the same lineup in consecutive matches this season and his side now trail Liverpool by 22 points in the Premier League title race.

According to the Daily Mail, senior players made their concerns about the Spaniard's constant tweaking clear after the game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where a dressing room inquest is said to have taken place.

The report adds that Guardiola asked his players for suggestions and used a similar tactic last season.

The 49-year-old has made more changes than any other manager in the Premier League this season, with 76 switches.

City face Real Madrid in the last 16 of the Champions League later this month as they look to win the trophy for the first time.
