Manchester City have reportedly received a £20.7m bid from Inter Milan for Carlos Tevez.
The Italian giants have now emerged as the favourites to sign the controversial hitman, following the collapse of talks between the Premier League leaders and Inter's rivals AC Milan.
The Serie A side have lodged a bid in the region of £20m, but it is understood that the fee does not meet the valuation of the North West club, according to Sky Sports News.
The Argentina international has not played for up to two months after jetting to South America without Man City's permission.
