Roberto Mancini bemoans lack of players

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini says that he is lacking options in midfield.

Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini has bemoaned his lack of players after his side gave up a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Fulham yesterday (Sunday).

With James Milner and Nigel de Jong out of action with injuries, Mancini felt restricted by his lack of options in midfield.

"I don't have players at this moment," Mancini said after the match. "I can only change the fullbacks or the strikers. I have only two midfield players as Milner and De Jong are injured.

"After being 2-0 up it feels like a defeat, but it could be a lesson. When you dominate a game for 60 minutes and score only two goals it's a problem. I'm disappointed."

City have spent more than £300million on new players in the last three years, and recent signing Sergio Aguero is rumoured to have cost the club £35m.
