Roberto Mancini: 'Sergio Aguero going nowhere'

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has rejected rumours that Sergio Aguero could move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has hit back at rumours that Sergio Aguero could be heading back to Madrid at the end of the season.

The Argentinian joined City from Atletico Madrid in the summer and has made an immediate impact by scoring six goals in four appearances for the Eastlands side.

However, rumours have suggested that Aguero is keen to join Real Madrid in the future and could be on his way back to Spain at the end of the season.

"It will be difficult for him to join Real Madrid because he has signed a five-year contract. I don’t think this will happen," said Mancini.

It had been reported that Aguero joined City on the basis that they would allow him to join Real next summer as Atletico were unwilling to do business with their bitter rivals during the recent transfer window.

Manchester City are in Premier League action against Fulham later today.
