Manuel Pellegrini: 'We will attack Liverpool'

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini reveals that his side will "attack" Liverpool during their Premier League clash at Anfield on Sunday.

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has indicated that he will only be happy with three points from Sunday's game at Liverpool.

With Chelsea competing in the League Cup final, City can cut the gap to the Premier League leaders to two points, and Pellegrini has revealed that he will be naming an attack-minded team for the fixture at Anfield.

The 61-year-old told reporters: "It's very important that we beat Liverpool. They are a strong team and it's a difficult stadium. We will try to attack them from the start of the game."

"We must keep fighting until the end and as soon as we close the gap on Chelsea, it's better for us."

Pellegrini has also revealed that he has no injury concerns ahead of the match.
