Anzhi Makhachkala have reportedly emerged as contenders for the signature of Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure.
The Ivorian's agent claimed earlier this week that his client could leave the Etihad Stadium should he not receive an extension to his £220,000-per-week contract, which still has two years left to run.
According to the Daily Mail, the oil-rich Russian outfit are lining up an offer for the 29-year-old, who has struggled to replicate last season's sparkling form this term.
However, City are thought to be unwilling to sell and will attempt to resolve the situation in the summer.
Paris Saint-Germain are also rumoured to be interested.
