Manchester City are reportedly lining up a £42m summer move for Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao.
The Colombian forward has netted 25 goals in his first season in Spanish football following a move from Porto.
City are now thought to have opened preliminary talks with his advisor Jorge Mendes, according to The Sun.
However, the 26-year-old could be signed as a replacement for Edin Dzeko.
The Bosnian's future at the Etihad Stadium is in doubt after a limited number of appearances this season.
