Aston Villa have agreed a fee with Manchester City for goalkeeper Shay Given, according to Sky Sports News.
The 35-year-old joined City in 2009 from Newcastle for £5.9 million and despite his highly-rated status, he has failed to make an impact in the North West.
The Republic of Ireland international has been forced out of Mancini’s starting lineup by first choice goalkeeper Joe Hart.
However, new Villa boss Alex McLeish promises to guarantee first-team football for Given with a move to the Midlands this summer.
