David de Gea has been ruled out of Manchester United's game at FC Midtjylland in the Europa League tonight after being injured in the warm-up.
The Spaniard had been named between the sticks for the last-32 tie in Denmark but was forced to undergo medical treatment for an injury with less than an hour to go to kickoff.
United's medical team subsequently confirmed that he could not proceed in the team tonight, forcing manager Louis van Gaal to call upon back-up keeper Sergio Romero from the bench.
The late change means that United now have no second keeper at their disposal during their clash with the Danish minnows.
