Memphis Depay starts for Manchester United's Under-21s

A day after his error proves costly away at Chelsea, Memphis Depay starts for Manchester United's Under-21 team against Norwich City.

Memphis Depay has been included in the Manchester United Under-21 side for tonight's clash against Norwich City at Old Trafford.

The £25m summer signing came off the bench in the closing stages of yesterday's first-team game away at Chelsea and it was his carelessness in possession that started the move which saw the home side score a late equaliser.

He is back in action for United's second string this evening, along with Adnan Januzaj, Phil Jones and goalkeeper Sergio Romero.

The encounter is being watched by manager Louis van Gaal and his assistant Ryan Giggs, as well as captain Wayne Rooney.
