Javier Hernandez insists that Manchester United must outwork opponents Athletic Bilbao to win.

Javier Hernandez has said that Manchester United must outwork opponents Athletic Bilbao in order to progress in the Europa League.

United, who lost 3-2 at Old Trafford last week, travel to San Mames for the second leg in need of more than a 1-0 win to reach the next round. However, Hernandez insists that it's possible.

"We know we need to score two goals, but it's also important for us not to concede," he said.

"We need to be patient. [Athletic Bilbao] pass the ball around and press their opponents. We have to work harder than them.

"We want to keep fighting. It's a difficult challenge but we want to keep the faith and we want to work hard to get the result we need."

Hernandez is expected to start up front for Sir Alex Ferguson's side tonight.
