Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot hints at inclusion for Watford match

Manchester United summer signing Diogo Dalot hints that he is ready to make his debut after recovering from a long-standing knee injury.

Diogo Dalot has suggested that he is in contention to make his Manchester United debut in next weekend's Premier League clash against Watford.

The 19-year-old has yet to feature for the club he joined in a £19m deal during the summer, having arrived from Porto carrying a knee injury.

Speaking during pre-season, United boss Jose Mourinho revealed that he did not expect to have Dalot available until the second month of the campaign.

After being given time to adapt to his new surroundings, the Portugal Under-21s international now appears to be ready to play some part at Vicarage Road on Saturday.

"Have a good week everybody. Getting ready for Saturday," the youngster posted on his personal Twitter page.

United are expected to be without first-choice left-back Luke Shaw for their next two games, potentially opening up a spot for right-sided Dalot to be integrated into the side.
