Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley has revealed that the players are enjoying working with new manager David Moyes.
The Red Devils are currently on a pre-season tour of Asia and Australia as they get ready to defend their Premier League title.
Despite losing their first match under Moyes, United made amends on Saturday with an emphatic 5-1 win over the A-League All Stars.
"We've definitely hit that extra gear," Sky Sports News quotes Cleverley as saying.
"You can definitely see in training that the intensity has stepped up and the players are getting to know each other better.
"All the boys are really enjoying the new manager's training. We are moving forward and we want to keep it like that."
United start the season with a trip to Swansea City on August 18.
