Angel di Maria: 'No regrets over Real Madrid departure'

Angel di Maria says that he doesn't regret leaving European champions Real Madrid for Manchester United.

Angel di Maria has said that he has 'no regrets' after leaving Real Madrid for Manchester United in the summer.

The Argentine played a starring role as Los Blancos recorded La Decima with a Champions League final triumph over fierce rivals Atletico Madrid last term, but he has said that he made the right decision in leaving the club.

"It's a different style of football here at Manchester United," he told Telefoot. "I'm very happy.

"I don't regret leaving Real Madrid. I won everything at there: La Liga, the Champions League and the Copa Del Rey".

Di Maria became the most expensive player in British football when he put pen to paper on a deal worth £59.7m in the summer.
