Angel di Maria: 'Manchester United will be my last European club'

Angel di Maria claims that Manchester United is likely to be his final European club before a move back to Argentina later in his career.

Angel di Maria has hinted that Manchester United will be his last club in Europe, despite speculation linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Di Maria was courted by the Ligue 1 champions in the summer but UEFA's Financial Fair Play directive halted the French side from concluding a deal, before Di Maria moved to Old Trafford for a British record of around £60m.

PSG have reportedly been weighing up a return in the summer, but Di Maria has said that he is likely to move back to South America once his United career ends.

The Argentina international told FIFA.com: "Truth be told, I've played for Europe's biggest clubs, competed in two World Cups and won the Champions League.

"I represented Real Madrid and before that was with Benfica, which, while a slightly smaller club than Madrid, is a giant of Portuguese football.

"Now I'm with another massive club in Manchester United. When I finish here, I think it might be time to return to Argentina. Hopefully, that happens."
