Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has expressed his anger at the Football Association after they revealed Ashley Young's injury.
The FA released information regarding the winger's fitness after he was left out of Roy Hodgson's latest England squad.
The former Aston Villa man has been suffering with a knee problem and will miss England's next World Cup qualifiers. The FA gave the information to the media after questioned on Young's omission.
"It was nice of the FA to let everyone know that Ashley Young is injured," said the Scot.
"He's out, he got a knee injury last week, although it's not serious. Obviously he will be ready for a couple of weeks' time.
"We have a game on Sunday. Why should they alert our opponents who's fit? It won't happen again."
Young moved to Old Trafford last summer, joining from Aston Villa.
