Manchester United midfielder Fred suggests that he will try to 'learn' from recent criticism regarding his performances.

Manchester United midfielder Fred has revealed that he reads the criticism regarding his recent performances.

Since moving to Old Trafford in 2018, Fred has failed to justify his £52m price-tag, leading to negative comments from several club legends.

While suggesting that he does not agree with every piece of feedback, the Brazil international is open to trying to take any advice on board.

The 26-year-old told The Sun: "They've won many titles with this club. We have to shut up and work on the pitch.

"Some critics are pointless — but many can offer me lessons. I like to read what people are saying about my performances. With that, I can try to get better."

Fred has been provided with just 14 starts in the Premier League since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk in June 2018.
