Rio Ferdinand open to Manchester United return

Player-turned-pundit Rio Ferdinand reveals that he is open to the possibility of returning to former club Manchester United as a staff member.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has refused to rule out the possibility of returning to Old Trafford in the future.

During a Q&A on Twitter, the player-turned-pundit was asked about a future role with Man United.

The 37-year-old wrote "we can all dream" after admitting that he 'does not know what the future holds'.

Ferdinand, who now works for BT Sport, represented Man United on 455 occasions between 2002 and 2014 - winning six Premier League titles and the Champions League with the Red Devils.
