Manchester United winger Ashley Young is looking forward to a return to former club Aston Villa.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has admitted that he is looking forward to returning to former club Aston Villa on Saturday.

The 26-year-old moved to Old Trafford in the summer for around £16m.

However, Young is only focused on securing the three points for the Premier League champions.

"I'm excited about going back. I have very happy memories of my time there and hopefully I'll get a warm reception. But I'm just concentrating on going there and doing well," he said.

"I've still got friends there who I speak to pretty much every week so it will be nice to go back there and see them. It will be even nicer if we come back winning. If we apply ourselves in the right way I'm sure we'll get the three points."

The West Midlands side have not beaten United in the league at Villa Park since 1995.
