Team News: Manchester United unchanged for Everton clash

Louis van Gaal picks an unchanged starting lineup for Manchester United's Premier League encounter against Everton at Old Trafford.

Manchester United are unchanged for Everton's visit to Old Trafford this afternoon.

Fit-again Ashley Young and Ander Herrera have both returned to the squad, but manager Louis van Gaal has resisted the urge to give either of them an instant recall.

Instead, Van Gaal has stuck with the same players that started the 1-0 victory away at Manchester City last time out.

That means that the attack will once again be spearheaded by local teenager Marcus Rashford for a ninth consecutive game, while Marcos Rojo continues to deputise at left-back.

As for Everton, centre-back John Stones has been passed fit despite picking up a knock while on international duty with England.

Former United midfielder Tom Cleverley is also included, but Gareth Barry misses out through suspension.
