Report: Manchester United preparing Ross Barkley bid

A report claims that Manchester United will launch a £45m move for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley at the end of the season.

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a summer move for Everton midfielder Ross Barkley.

The Red Devils have been strongly linked with a move for Barkley's teammate Romelu Lukaku in recent weeks, but according to the Daily Star, Man United want to launch a double raid on Goodison Park.

The report claims that the 20-time English champions will put a £45m offer on the table for the England international with a view to agreeing terms before the European Championships get underway in June.

Top-four hopefuls Man United and inconsistent Everton will go head to head in the Premier League on Sunday when the Toffees make the trip to Old Trafford.
