Cristiano Ronaldo leads the Manchester United attack in Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham United.

Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the Manchester United attack in Saturday's Premier League clash with West Ham United at Old Trafford.

Red Devils interim head coach Ralf Rangnick said on Friday that the Portugal international was struggling with a neck problem, but he was pictured arriving with the squad last night and has been named in the starting XI.

Ronaldo will once again be joined by Mason Greenwood and Anthony Elanga in the final third of the field, with Bruno Fernandes operating as the advanced midfielder in a 4-3-3 formation.

Diogo Dalot and Alex Telles continue in the full-back spots, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw both out, but there is a change at the back from Wednesday's win over Brentford, with club captain Harry Maguire replacing Victor Lindelof, who misses out for personal reasons.

As expected, Scott McTominay and Fred retain their spots in midfield, with Donny van de Beek and Nemanja Matic starting on the bench for the 20-time English champions.

Edinson Cavani also makes the bench despite being considered a doubt for the contest, but there is no spot for Jadon Sancho, who is absent due to personal reasons.

Full Manchester United XI: De Gea; Dalot, Varane, Maguire, Telles; McTominay, Fred, Fernandes; Greenwood, Ronaldo, Elanga
