Bebe would welcome Benfica move

Manchester United winger Bebe reveals that he welcomes speculation linking him with a move to Benfica.

Manchester United winger Bebe believes that signing for Benfica would present a "unique opportunity" for him.

Bebe has failed to make an impact at Old Trafford since his arrival in 2010, but after impressing on loan at Pacos de Ferreria last season, the Portuguese attacker has been linked with a transfer to the Estadio da Luz.

It has also been reported that new Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal will allow Bebe to depart the Premier League club during the summer, and the former Portugal Under-21 international has admitted that he would jump at the chance to sign for the treble winners.

The 24-year-old told Antena 1: "I think that it would be a good opportunity for me.

"For now, I will wait for my agent to resolve it. He will certainly know better than I do whether it's true or not.

"Of course it would be a great opportunity for me. Maybe I could play more and they could rely on me more. I think it would be a unique opportunity."

It was reported last month that United would offer Bebe as part of any potential bid for winger Nicolas Gaitan.
