Crystal Palace to make formal approach for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr?

Crystal Palace are reportedly planning to make an official approach for Watford winger Ismaila Sarr before the end of the domestic transfer window.

Crystal Palace are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in Watford winger Ismaila Sarr.

As a result of their relegation from the Premier League, the Hornets are prepared to part ways with the Senegal international for a fee in the region of £40m.

Despite the likes of Liverpool and Manchester United being keen on the 22-year-old, neither club met Watford's demands before the first transfer deadline.

According to The Sun, Palace will look to tempt Watford into a sale with a formal bid of £30m early next week.

The report suggests that the Eagles have no intention of offering in excess of that figure, leaving the Championship outfit to decide whether they want to cash in on one of their star men.

Palace could push to sign Said Benrahma from Brentford if they cannot get a deal over the line.
