Manchester United have reportedly offered full-back Patrice Evra a new three-year contract at Old Trafford.
There have been suggestions that the Frenchman could leave the Red Devils in the summer after almost eight years at the club.
However, Sky Sport Italia journalist Gianluca di Marzio wrote on Twitter this week that United have tabled a new deal within the last few days, despite David Moyes's sacking.
The Scotsman's dismissal was confirmed on Tuesday, less than 10 months after he was appointed as Sir Alex Ferguson's successor.
Evra's future has been called into question following widespread reports that United are in the market for Southampton left-back Luke Shaw.
