Bruno Fernandes 'tells friend he is confident of Manchester United move'

Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes allegedly tells a friend that he remains confident of completing a transfer to Manchester United.

Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes reportedly expects to complete a move to Manchester United in January.

Despite allegedly agreeing personal terms ahead of a switch to Old Trafford, the two clubs are yet to reach a compromise regarding a fee.

The main dispute appears to be regarding a number of add-ons, some of which Sporting deem to be unrealistic.

However, according to the Daily Record, Fernandes has told a friend that he is 'confident' of sealing a transfer to the Premier League giants before the end of the month.

Despite the speculation regarding his future, the playmaker played the full 90 minutes as Sporting lost to Braga in the Portuguese Cup on Tuesday night.
