Zlatan Ibrahimovic "would like" to play in MLS before he retires

Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic reveals that the thought of playing in Major League Soccer attracts him, despite speculation of a move to Manchester United.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed that he would like to play in Major League Soccer before he retires amid increasing speculation of a move away from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 33-year-old is currently in the United States with PSG on the club's pre-season tour, and despite mounting rumours of a move to Manchester United he has admitted that the thought of playing for an MLS side "absolutely" attracts him.

The Swedish international also says that big-name signings such as Andrea Pirlo, Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard have helped to give MLS a good reputation in Europe.

"I would like to play in US, absolutely," he told Yahoo Sports. "I would like to play. Which team? Am I allowed to say that? No, I cannot say that.

"I think it would be an amazing experience. I see that soccer is growing a lot in US. I think many want to come over here and play.

"Maybe not in the beginning of their career, but in the second part of their career [to] enjoy US with the soccer at the same time and have the possibility to live here."

Although Ibrahimovic did not name any specific teams, he revealed that he can see himself living in Miami, Los Angeles or New York.
