Jurgen Klopp: 'Mats Hummels is not leaving Borussia Dortmund'

Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp is adamant that defender Mats Hummels will remain at the club, despite reported interest from Manchester United and Arsenal.

Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp has made it clear that defender Mats Hummels will not be leaving the German side this summer.

The World Cup winner has been linked with a switch to Manchester United, who are keen to improve their defence following the departures of Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.

Arsenal have also been touted as possible suitors for the 25-year-old, but Klopp expects his player to remain at Dortmund for the coming Bundesliga season.

"He is going nowhere," FourFourTwo quotes Klopp as saying. "He is staying with us."

Hummels's contract with Dortmund runs until the summer of 2017.
