Liverpool are reportedly keen on signing striker Radamel Falcao this summer, despite his difficult season at Manchester United.
The Colombian joined Louis van Gaal's side on loan from Monaco last August but has struggled with form and fitness during his time at Old Trafford.
However, The Sun claims that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to recruit a world-class striker and still holds an interest in the 29-year-old, after he failed with a move last summer.
Manchester United have the option to sign Falcao permanently at the end of the season, but that is considered unlikely, while Real Madrid and Chelsea have also been linked.
Falcao has scored four goals for United so far.
