Manchester United are reportedly among four English clubs weighing up a cut-price move for Real Madrid outcast James Rodriguez.

Real Madrid have conceded that they will have to sell outcast midfielder James Rodriguez on the cheap this summer, according to a report.

The Colombia international has been left out of Madrid's extended squad for Sunday's trip to Athletic Bilbao and is not part of Zinedine Zidane's future plans.

Los Blancos are ready to cash in this summer, but Spanish outlet Marca claims that Madrid are going to take a big hit on Rodriguez's transfer fee.

Napoli and Atletico Madrid are said to have been prepared to pay around €50m (£45m) for the 28-year-old last year, though Madrid are now willing to accept half of that amount.

The report indicates that Wolverhampton Wanderers, Arsenal, Everton and Manchester United are weighing up offers for Rodriguez, who has started eight games in all competitions in 2019-20.
