Manchester City join Renato Sanches hunt?

A report claims that Manchester City are ready to battle Manchester United for the services of Benfica's young midfielder Renato Sanches.

Manchester United will face competition from rivals Manchester City for Renato Sanches's signature this summer, according to a report.

The Red Devils have long been linked with Benfica's 18-year-old midfielder, whom they are said to have extensively scouted over recent months.

However, The Times has claimed that incoming City boss Pep Guardiola also harbours a strong interest in the Portugal international.

The outlet adds that as well as the Premier League's Manchester duo, Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are both trying to broker a deal.

Sanches has found the net twice from his 27 appearances in all competitions this term.
