Manchester United, Chelsea to bid for Sami Khedira in January?

Manchester United and Chelsea are reportedly preparing £10m bids for Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira in the January transfer window.

Manchester United and Chelsea reportedly want to sign Sami Khedira from Real Madrid in the January transfer window.

The German World Cup winner is rumoured to be keen on leaving the Bernabeu after rejecting a new contract with the Spanish giants.

According to The Express, with Khedira due to become a free agent at the end of the season, United are considering a £10m bid for the midfielder, while Chelsea are said to be willing to match that fee.

Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the 27-year-old in the summer window, but a transfer failed to materialise for the Gunners.

Khedira has been a Madrid player since 2010.
