Manchester City have reportedly emerged as the latest club to identify Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger as a potential transfer target.
Despite his status as a key man at Stamford Bridge, it appears increasingly likely that the Germany international will leave on a free next summer.
While the Chelsea board are said to have offered the 28-year-old a long-term deal and a significant pay rise, the terms on the table have been deemed unacceptable.
At a time when Real Madrid are regarded as the favourites to sign Rudiger, 90min claims that City intend to make a bid for the player.
Pep Guardiola's team are yet to be strongly linked with Rudiger, but the report suggests that they will throw their hat into the ring at the start of next month.
Premier League trio Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have also been suggested as potential destinations, as have European giants Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.
