Jose Mourinho plays down Pedro talk

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho claims that he is not interested in signing Barcelona attacker Pedro this summer.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has played down suggestions that he could move for Barcelona attacker Pedro this summer.

The Blues have been strongly linked with a move for the Spanish international this month, while Manchester United are also said to be in the running.

Man United could now have a free run at the 27-year-old after Mourinho revealed that he does not need any more wingers.

"I have five wingers, if I lose one maybe I am interested in another but at this moment I have balance and quality and numbers," he told Sky Sports News.

Pedro, who struggled to displace Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez at the Camp Nou last season, can reportedly leave Barca this summer for £22m.
