Inter Milan midfielder Joao Mario has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Paris Saint-Germain.
Last month, it was claimed that Manchester United were keen to secure a deal for the Portuguese international, who has failed to gain regular first-team football at San Siro.
Inter are allegedly keen on attempting to arrange a swap deal with United involving Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but it appears that the Premier League side will have competition for the 24-year-old's signature.
According to reports in France, PSG are monitoring the situation with Mario likely to be available for less than the fee that he cost Inter after Euro 2016.
PSG must also fulfill FFP commitments, but the opportunity to sign Mario - should it arise - could prove too good to turn down.
Inter director Walter Sabatini has previously claimed that the Serie A giants want to keep the player in Milan.
