Real Madrid have reportedly enquired about taking Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez on loan, in case they miss out on Radamel Falcao.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are close to sealing a move for the Colombia international, but could face late competition for his signature.
Madrid are now looking at contingency options in case Falcao chooses to move elsewhere, and have lined up Hernandez as their primary target on a loan deal, claims the Daily Mail.
Hernandez has played twice this season for United and has been linked with Juventus.
