Manchester United block a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Anderson, according to reports.

Manchester United have reportedly blocked a move from Tottenham Hotspur for Brazilian midfielder Anderson.

Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is keen on Anderson as he looks to boost his options in midfield, according to The National.

The 24-year-old's progress has been hampered by injuries in recent seasons, but Sir Alex Ferguson is still thought to be keen on the midfielder and has rebuffed their interest.

Spurs have also been linked with a move for United winger Nani in recent weeks as Villas-Boas continues to make changes at White Hart Lane.
