Donny van de Beek still intends to push for a move away from Manchester United at the start of 2022, according to a report.

Donny van de Beek is reportedly still intending to push for a move away from Manchester United during the January transfer window.

The Netherlands international has only made five appearances for the Red Devils this season, but he has featured in his side's last two matches against Atalanta BC and Manchester City.

The 24-year-old still has four years left to run on his contract at Old Trafford but is said to be keen on a move in the hope of working his way back into his national team squad for next year's World Cup.

According to the Daily Mail, Van de Beek is still determined to secure a switch away from the 20-time English champions at the start of 2022.

Newcastle United have been strongly linked with the Dutchman, while there have also been suggestions that Barcelona could explore a loan move at the turn of the year.

Van de Beek has scored once and provided two assists in 41 appearances for Man United since arriving from Dutch giants Ajax in September 2020.
